Once soil is treated at Tonawanda Terminals Corp biotreatment facility, it is available for sale as backfill.  Tonawanda Terminals Corp soil backfill is a mix of clay, sand, and silt.  Gradation analysis is available, if necessary.

About the Soil Remediation Facility

Tonawanda Terminals Corp is a Soil Remediation Facility which is an affordable and environmentally-friendly alternative to land filling. Our unique land farm offers you the ability to reuse natural resources while conserving landfill space. Tonawanda Terminals Corp. is a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC Part 360) permitted "land farm" where petroleum impacted soil is treated. Treated soils are tested to verify compliance with NYSDEC soil cleanup objectives and certified for reuse.

Part of the green initiative in Western New York, Tonawanda Terminals Corp is an affiliate of Newman Properties. Tonawanda Terminals Corp gives developers and gasoline station owners an incentive to rebuild on land currently containing petroleum impacted soils without the liability, exposure, complication, and expense of landfilling soil.
